Creating a Plot File

• Open AutoCad 2000. Select "TOOLS" from the pull down menu.

• Select "WIZARDS" then "ADD PLOTTER".

• From "ADD PLOTTER-BEGIN" window leave selection
  to "MY COMPUTER" then "NEXT".

• From the "ADD PLOTTER-PLOTTER MODELS" window choose
  "HEWLETT-PACKARD" and "DESIGNJET 650C" model.



• From the “PORTS” menu select “PLOT TO FILE”



• From the "ADD PLOTTER-PLOTTER NAME" window the Hp 650C
  plotter is already hi-lighted, select "NEXT" OR rename the
  printer to "Bell Printer" if it helps to differentiate between multiple printers.

• From the "ADD PLOTTER-FINISH" window, select "NEXT”

• To verify the driver has been installed, open AutoCad 2000
  and select "FILE" then "PLOT". In the "PLOT DEVICE" tab the
  new driver should be one of your choices.
